Karen Harrell, RN

Karen Harrell has over 30 years as a Registered Nurse, with experience in coronary and intensive care units, home health care, and the assisted living setting. With 18 years as a Regional Manager and Executive Director in the Assisted Living setting, Karen has a strong reputation for turning around and managing struggling assisted living communities. She retains frail residents through staff education and training, and has success with increasing occupancy through providing residents with quality of life and by developing strong relationships with residents, family, and staff.

Karen has developed and served as Program Administrator for three Certified Medication Aide training programs. Karen is dedicated to educating staff, residents, and family on dementia care and techniques. Karen received her Diploma of Nursing from Huron Road Hospital School of Nursing and is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
