HARDI Presents Joint Statement on Regional Standards Enforcement
On March 31, HARDI presented a public statement at a U.S. Department of Energy stakeholder meeting for the start of a new rulemaking for residential furnaces’ energy conservations standards on behalf of a joint HARDI-AHRI-ACCA task force. The statement addresses eight considerations outlined by DOE as potential enforcement options should the agencies choose to establish regional standards for residential gas furnaces. |
