HARDI Members Support PSI Thermostat Recycling Initiative
Six HARDI distributor member companies serving the Bridgeport, CT market have agreed to participate in the industry’s Thermostat Recycling Corporation’s (TRC) mercury thermostat collection program as part of the Product Stewardship Institute’s (PSI) local initiative. PSI’s Bridgeport program provides the $25 per collection bin fee paid by HVACR distributors to the TRC to serve as collection points for mercury thermostats collected by HVACR contractors.
